Upper Knapp Farm Day Nursery, Cam
Our busy nursery has the following vacancies:
Manager required, 42 hours a week over 4 days. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a manager whose role will be to manage the operation of the nursery. This includes: overall responsibility for the safety and welfare of the children, managing staff, ensuring compliance with Ofsted and EYFS. Applicants must have at least 3 years' relevant experience in a recent managerial role, have a strong personality, excellent communication skills, and a sound knowledge and understanding of the EYFS. Applicants will need to have a minimum relevant level 3 qualification (level 4 or above preferred). Hours are 7:30am-6:00pm, Monday-Thursday.
Supply staff required. We are looking for enthusiastic supply staff to join our friendly team, often working on an ad hoc basis and often at short notice. There is potential for more hours. Applicants should have a relevant level 3 qualification with previous relevant experience, and be knowledgeable about the EYFS.

Leckhampton Road Playgroup, Cheltenham
Deputy playleader required, term time only. We seek an enthusiastic and dynamic person to help grow and develop the playgroup at our Scout Hut setting. The successful candidate will have a relevant level 3 qualification, be focused on child-led interaction and knowledgeable of the EYFS. They will be able to clearly demonstrate an understanding of the planning cycle; be a part of the team as well as provide guidance and support; communicate and interact with parents, the community and the playgroup committee. Play assistant required, term time only. We are seeking to employ a play assistant to join our team. This position is for Monday and Thursday, 12 hours a week. Preschool practitioner required. This position is for 38 hours a week, over 4 days. Applicants must have relevant qualifications and experience working with preschool children, as well as a good understanding of the EYFS and the ability to work closely with other professionals.
Lunchtime cover practitioner required. This position is to assist with the setting up of lunchtime, helping with feeding and caring for the children and covering staff lunch breaks. Hours are 10:30am - 2:00pm, five days a week.

Winchcombe Playgroup
Key group leader required, as soon as possible, term time only, temporary position ending July 2012, although a permanent contract may be offered for the following academic year. Applicants should be self-motivated, team players who are able to perform a range of childcare duties, interact well with parents and carers, have good communication skills and have proven experience working with preschool children. Applicants should be familiar with the EYFS and have a relevant level 3 qualification, Forest School training and experience of SENCo work are highly desirable. The position is currently for 15 hours a week, on Tuesday 9:00am-3:00, Wednesday 9:00am-3:00pm and Friday 9:00am-12:00 noon. There may be capacity to increase these hours should child numbers increase toward the end of the academic year. Pay is £8.32 a hour.
