The aim of the PATA Toddler Project is to support and encourage existing community baby & toddler groups to meet the needs of the community.

The project will provide advice, training and toddler group support plans for every baby & toddler group.  It can support groups in areas such as organisational skills, financial management, children's activities ideas, legal and health & safety issues.

The project provides a variety of services:

  • a visit from a Toddler Support Worker
  • telephone and email support
  • Toddler Talk - newsletter to help keep you up to date
  • Toddler Talk in Action - meetings providing inspiration and information for group leaders, parents and carers
  • PATA's Toddler Activities Library - a selection of age and stage appropriate activities, leaflets for parents to encourage further play at home, handouts to extend ideas in groups
  • practical and financial support with starting new baby & toddler groups
