Benefits of PATA Membership
PATA is the largest voluntary sector provider of support to early years childcare and education in Gloucestershire.
When a child attends a PATA member setting their parent is automatically a PATA member.
Membership benefits
PATA offers:

Training for parents, carers, committee members, volunteers and staff

PATA Payroll service (for groups/settings - also available to non-members

Active involvement in an association working to enhance the lives of children and their families, with a vote at PATA Annual General Meetings

Community Playgroups
A group with a charitable constitution run by an elected committee, the majority being parents, and where children attend without their parent or carer. Sessional or full daycare.
Baby & toddler Groups
A group run by a group of parents and sometimes an elected committee where children only attend with their parent or carer.
Associate Groups
A private, maintained or voluntary (not parent-managed) nursery or group. Sessional or full daycare.
Out of School Clubs/Holiday Playschemes
Run by an elected committee, as a private business or a maintained setting. Out of school clubs operate before or after school or both. Holiday playschemes operate during some or all school holidays.
Individual Membership
If you would like to be involved in PATA without being a representative of a PATA member group.
